However, there is no limit to the number of messages that an LED display can deliver. The eye-catching movement of an LED display will result in messages that people notice, long before they even see a light box sign. Neon signs deliver a very noticeable message, but are usually limited to one or two words. Even a simple (off the shelf) neon sign will cost about the same as a comparably sized LED sign. Furthermore, the neon sign message can never be changed, and the life expectancy is only 25-50% of that of an LED display.
